“Aliens With Candy” is from our debut EP which was released on Soundcloud in 2020. It’s since been migrated to Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services. Even though this video is a couple of years late, it’s better late than never.
Where did this song come from?
During the lockdown, we were watching old reruns of the show Strangers With Candy, a hilarious send-up of 1980s after-school specials. That’s where the name of the song comes from…and that’s pretty much it. We really cut our teeth on music production with this song and there many as-yet unreleased tracks from those 2020 sessions. It is sandwiched between the other two songs being “Solar Cellar” and “Lunar Loft” which follow the naming convention of being on a spaceship, starting below the decks and rising above.
